Peak offers a winter tutorial program specifically designed for competitive winter sports athletes who miss significant classroom instruction for training and competition. This includes:
- Coordinate scheduling and responsibilities to academic and athletic programs
- Bridge communication between student, parents, CBCS (or school of record) and CBMR
- Tutoring needs resulting from travel and training
- Assistance with credit and transcript management; including spring, summer, and fall credit options
This program accommodates:
- Local student-athletes
- Non-local student-athletes
- International student-athletes
Peak also arranges and manages home stays with local families for non-local competitive athletes.
Peak works with:
- The local CBCS curriculum
- Non-local student’s curriculum
- Various on-line programming options (including comprehensive HS and MS curricula)
While the program establishes a “regular” weekly schedule for all student-athletes, each program is individually designed to meet the needs of the student-athlete and his/her family (depending on their academic program,
training and completion schedule, school of record, and individual needs)
